Teamwork Taught to our Young but Doesn't Apply to our Politicians

When we were young we are taught the importance of getting along and working together as a team to accomplish goals. As parents, we try to teach our kids the same values and for the most part as parents we are successful doing this. Political elections are upon us in California with primary elections being held in California tomorrow in state wide, county and city elections. We all have endured the political ads, the backstabbing and jabs that we all know as Political Football. The unfortunate thing; this same posturing is exactly what takes place whenever whomever gets into political office. Personally, I am tired of the B. S. When civil people cannot come to an agreement on something, compromise comes into play. How come this doesn't apply to our politicians? We elect them to serve us and frankly, they are serving their parties needs and philosophy, forgetting their constituents that put them in office and the needs of the community they are elected to serve. It is not their fault. These greedy self serving individuals are put into office by the voters and unless we pay attention and are involved in keeping these individuals on course to do their job, they will continue their selfish ways and will continue to represent their parties needs and not the needs of their constituents. Tomorrow, we exercise that right to keep our politicians accountable. It should not be politics as usual. Most Americans are tired of this BS. If you are one of them, get out and express yourself by voting tomorrow for the best person who will represent "YOUR" needs and not the needs of a particular party.
